The interview took place on Tuesday in the building of Akbank Sanat. Writer Buket Uzuner and writer and voice actor Yekta Kopan talked about literature, life and their memories during the interview moderated by Küçük İskender. Küçük İskender asked Uzuner about her novels “İstanbullular” and “Gelibolu” and asked Kopan questions regarding his stories.
The artists talked about why poetry isn’t substantial whereas they all took up poetry as a step into literature. The writers explaining their debuts in literature made the audience look through the window of literature. While reading online comments about the writers, Küçük İskender suggested that it was easy to notice the changes and the differences on the language and culture through online linguistic performances. The interview lasted 90 minutes and ended with the writers informing the audience about their work.
