Talking about the movie and mentioning her excitement, Aşık Veysel’s granddaughter actress Yeliz Şatıroğlu said “There is a movie project about my grandfather. I am so happy to perform in this movie. It was planned to start movie shooting last August but for some reasons the project was postponed to August this year.”
She said that film crew and scenario planning have been completed and the movie will be love movie rather than biographical film and added “The film tells my grandfather’s previous life of becoming famous. It is about his life period between 30 and 40 ages. Family members also like the scenario. Our family has a lot of people interested in music but I am the only one who is on stage. I would like to be in the Project as soon as possible.”
