According to announcement on the Basketball Federation’s website, Turkish Women’s Basketball League (TKBL) representative working on transfers for the new season added a Greek player to the team.
Istanbul University Women Basketball Team(IUWBT) Vice President Selim Şahin said about the transfer ‘We are on our way with Artemis Spanou born in 1993. She is young and a very precious player with a promising future. She proved herself in the U.S. We are so pleased that she chose us in her European career. We thank her. I wish this transfer to be auspicious to our community.’
