US citizen Elizabeth Williams transferred to İstanbul University says İÜ Sports Union (İÜ Spor Birliği). Born in 1993, Williams is 6’3” and she is able to play as a power forward and a post player.
Young player managed to enter the team selected by Associated Press in US four times. Besides she is chosen as “Defender of the Year” by Women’s Basketball Caches Association (WBCA) in 2015. Williams also won golden medal with US National Team n U-16, U-17 and U-19.
Williams was drafted fourth overall in this year’s WNBA draft by the Connecticut Sun.
