Making the opening speech at the meeting, Istanbul University Deputy Rector Prof.Dr. Recep Güloğlu specified the plagiarism issue as a global problem and the ethics as a everyday life problem . Prof.Dr. Güloğlu said plagiarism issue is a world problem.
Prof. Dr. Güloğlu specified that Istanbul University is very sensitive about ethics : “We really care a lot about ethics committee as a university. Our dear rector the same way. Our rector wants the meetings about ethics only to be in his office. There’s obviously a historical side too. Also in our past cultures, sensitivity about this topic is very high’’ About the ethics he wished the contributions to be successful and ended his speech.
