Meaning “your mission”, in Turkish “Görevin” is a new game experience that creates a real life setting in order to involve the players more. “Görevin” is one of the “escape the house” themed games that are becoming more and more popular in Turkey. In the mansion board, games come to life and the players have to solve some mysteries and enigmas to get out. Teams formed by two to five players need to get reservations for their session in the old building located in Kadıköy, Moda. In each room of the mansion with three floors, there are mysteries that need solving and the teams are given only 60 minutes to escape the house.
These real life simulations of online games where one finds himself locked in a room and has to gather clues to find the key are becoming more and more popular worldwide. One of the founders of “Görevin” mansion says “these kinds of games are loved by different groups of people from different age groups or different social settings. There are a lot of people who constantly follow game houses and they are very experienced. First-timers are mostly having a hard time doing the puzzles because of their inability to manage time.”
