In new year’s first programme, Pera Museum presents a selection from the stories about coffee and its surrounding mysterious culture in cinema. Coffee and coffee culture in cinema are discussed via full length films and documentaries. Coffe Break exhibiton, enlights the creation of its own rituals and social acceptance from the discovery of coffee in Ethiopia as the “magic fruit” to passing Ottoman through Yemen in 15th century. Films in the programme explore different aspects of life by the way of coffee.
