As the guest of the integrated marketing communication class, Canan Noyan touched upon the importance of the integrated marketing in the industry. Reminding that until few years ago, public relations, advertisement and marketing agencies worked separately at the publicities of the digital sources and field activities, she stated that now there is an integrated system in marketing communication. She added that thanks to this system, successful projects came true with the integration of these advertising channels.
“Design Channels Should Applaud Each Other”
Underlining the public relations in these advertising channels as the most important, Noyan said: “ In making your work newsworthy, firstly public relations steps in and success come with other advertising channels concurred alongside. But ıt must be remembered that these channels should be in orchestration by applauding each other to achieve success.”
Touching upon integrated relationship between social responsibility project conducted by intuitions and sponsorship, Noyan underlined that these two channels should also applaud each other. Giving examples from the projects which became successful by using this integrated relationship, Noyan said: “Project which uses an integrated communication channels does not only hold a press conference. Besides this, using many communication channels such as written, visual or social media, street activities, education programmes etc., it makes social responsibility project successful.
Asserting that sponsorship is the players who make social responsibility projects successful, Noyan said that integrated marketing communication is needed to advertise and these channels which supports each other can only keep each other alive by the cycle in which they participated.
