Jury selected films shown on screens at airports, public plazas, metro stations, restaurants and bars, campuses, and shopping malls. Selected as one of the coolest festivals by the Movie Maker Magazine, Art By Chance is one of the biggest public art events in the world. The films are 30 seconds long and the theme is “Discover”. Starting on 15th of January, the festival will last a month.
In Turkey, festival films will be screening in Ankara, Antalya, Aydın, Istanbul, İzmir, Kocaeli, Manisa and Trabzon. In Istanbul, the films are meeting audience in Aqua Florya Shopping Mall, Başka Sinema, Hardal restaurants, Hillside residences, private hospitals with Digiboard systems, İDO TV’s, taxis and universities.
Art By Chance’s creator Hatice Çağlar says that new producers and artists will get tos hare their work with audiences worldwide. During the festival discoverartbychance.com will hold a vote and the producer of the first film will win a flight from Turkish Airlines.
