İETT brings İstanbul citizens to the nature and gives life to a trekking route by the new bus lane D2 Beşiktaş – Belgrad Forest which takes off from Beşiktaş pier. İstanbul citizens now have the opportunity to take walk in nature.

Two routes for nature lovers

With D2 Beşiktaş – Belgrad Forest bus lane, nature lovers will take a route passing Zincirlikuyu Metrobüs, 4. Levent, Maslak, Hacıosman and Atatürk Arboretum, arriving to Belgrad Forest. On the other hand, the course of D1 bus lane passing from Kadıköy, Numune Hospital, Doğancılar, Altunizade, Ümraniye, Çakmak Bridge, Şile Yolu and Çubuklu Evleri, arrives to Polonezköy Muhtarlık. Trekking routes will be in service on weekends during spring and summer.

Organic routes are also active

In the past, İETT created village routes for İstanbul citizens who want to experience the village life and have a different kind of weekend. By opening new bus lanes for citizens who had trouble reaching the rural areas, İETT brought the people and the organic good produced in the rural areas of İstanbul together.

People can take the bus lanes from Arnavutköy, Başakşehir, Beykoz, Çatalca, Çekmeköy, Eyüp, Pendik, Sancaktepe, Sarıyer, Silivri and Şile districts, and spend a day in touch with nature without leaving İstanbul.
